Subinternships in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit are available
on a limited basis. The fourth-year student will join a team
of pediatric PL-2s and PL-3s supervised by an attending in pediatric
intensive care. He/she will examine and participate in the care
of children admitted to the ICU in conjunction with the pediatric
senior residents. He/she will attend all rounds and teaching
conferences.
Pediatrics is a prerequisite. Twelve four-week rotations are
