Reunion site
This site contains information about many
families, but the most central families in this genealogy
are listed below.
The first three families are the children
of George Wagner and Justina Lorenz, who came to America
with three children, George Fredrick, Mary, and Joseph
Baldasty.
George Fredrick
Wagner who married Margaret and then Caroline Trentz.lived in Dubuque, Iowa. A Nartive
describing this family is available.
Joseph
Baldesty married Elizabeth Barbara Richard, but left Dubuque and settled in Spokane,
Washington.
Mary Wagner
was the second wife of August Krogman. They moved from Dyersville, Iowa to
Wisconsin.
Walter Jaeger
married Matilda Van Duelman and
the couple lived in Dubuque, Iowa. Their daughter,
Mary Lou
married John Wagner, who was one
of the sons of George Fredrick and Margaret.
The following two famlies are the
grandparents of Lorraine and Celeste Gudas as well as many
other grandchildren. Lorraine was the
companion of John A Wagner, the
son of John and Mary Lou Wagner
George Gudeczauskas
and Helen Dzekevicius, who
emigrated from Lithuania and lived in Rhode Island.
Paul
Bogdan and Stephania Banas, who
emigrated from Poland and lived in Syracuse New York.
These six couples were blessed with 49
children and numerous grandchildren, so this site is fairly
large (more than 1000 entries and growing). If you recognize
one of the couples above, click on their name and you will
be transported to their family card. If you want to find
yourself or a friend, you can also browse through the
surnames represented on this site. Click on the name to go
to the family card or the person card of that individual.
You can then explore their family relationships by clicking
on their parents or their children.
This is a joint project between me (John
A Wagner) and my cousin Tony
Wagner, who started organizing
information about the Wagner family. We would love to hear
from relatives and friends who can add to our knowledge of
the family. Contact us with information about births,
weddings, death announcements, stories, events you would
like to share, or errors that you have found. We would love
to hear more about our ancestors. We are especially grateful
