Abstract
The local structure theory is an analytical method for the determination of the statistical properties of cellular automaton evolution. In this paper we develop the local structure theory for multi-dimensional Euclidean lattices. The local structure theory for the Game of Life is studied in detail. Some statistical properties of this cellular automaton are well approximated by a low order theory.
