The Weill Medical College of Cornell has a strong focus on scientific research in the area of intracellular protein targetting and sorting consisting of several different laboratories exploring the molecular basis of vesicle trafficking within cells. Members of these groups meet for weekly journal clubs and bi-weekly research in progress seminars.
